our story
Big Day Dog Company, in both business and name, was inspired by our first dog- Wiggles. It is built on the foundation that our pets are our family and should always be part of our big moments. When we got married, we struggled to find a way to include Wiggles without asking one of our family members to sacrifice their own involvement in the day. We also worried about her happiness and safety during all of the commotion and celebration. As a result, one of the biggest days of our lives was missing our best friend. We knew we needed to create this company in honor of Wiggles- so no pet will ever have to miss their human's big day.

Our name is a nod to one of Wiggles' favorite things- her very own big day. Every month, we would choose one day to do everything from getting pup cups to swimming to hiking. It was the best type of 'big day'... in our completely biased opinion.

I am a dog lover with 10+ years of experience in the pet care industry. I also have degrees in Business and Design so planning and organization are my jam.

As a dog mom to a leash-reactive pup, I have participated in several training programs and have hands-on experience with positive reinforcement techniques. I whole-heartedly believe that every dog is a good dog, it's our job to give them the environment they need to thrive. This is why every single one of my client's days will be planned and customized to fit their individual needs.
I currently live in Green Bay with my husband (Will) and our dog (Ares). At any big event, you can always find me wherever the nearest dog is- which makes me the perfect +one for your pet!
